About Stephen Abson
Stephen has had a life long love of dogs and has taken the opportunity to turn his passion into a business.Based in Queens Park, Chester, Stephen will initially be providing dog care services in Handbridge, Boughton, Eccleston, Hoole, Upton, Huntingon and Blacon. Over time the plan is to expand the business into Deeside and The Wirral covering the CH5, CH42 – CH 49 and CH60 – CH65 postcodes.
“My love of dogs stems from growing up with a Golden Retriever called Sonny, who we had for 14 years. I know how important your best friend is to you, so I offer a wide range of dog care services, from dog walking, pet sitting to home boarding, knowing that your dog will be looked after and treated as a member of the family.”
Prior to joining My Best Friend Dog Care Stephen spent 2 years completing a City and Guilds Diploma in Animal Care and Management at Coleg Cambria, Northop. The course included topics such as Animal Health, Pet First Aid, Animal Nutrition, Animal Behaviour and Communication and Animal Welfare. In addition to this Stephen also volunteered at Chester Cathedral Falconry & Nature Gardens as well as the Tasikoki Wildlife Rescue Centre in Indonesia.
