Whatever the season there is always lots to see and do at Chasewater Country Park in Staffordshire. Boasting a 90 hectare reservoir and plenty of green open space, planning a day out at Chasewater is easy.

For the more adventurous visitor the Country Park offers extensive watersports , including sailing, wake-boarding, water skiing, water zorbing and paddle-boarding keeping the whole family entertained for hours.

For those wanting to enjoy more gentle pursuits, Chasewater is also an ideal venue for nature trails, bird watching, walking, cycling,  picnics and barbeques or enjoy a trip on the heritage steam railway.

The Main Car park for Chasewater is accessible from the A5 and the Postcode for which is WS8 7NL. This is a 3 mile, 1 and a half hour walk, over mostly Paths and trails. Starting from the Car Park take a left following the Blue / Green Signposts.

Waypoint 1 :

Follow the path past the Steam Railway centre, following the Blue / Green signpost.

Waypoint 2 :

Continue over a small bridge next to the Steam Railway line and follow the Blue Arrow on the signpost.

Waypoint 3 :

At next signpost take Blue Arrow to the right and follow path through gate.

Waypoint 4 :

At the next Blue Signpost take the Boardwalk on your left.

Waypoint 5 :

Continue through a small copse following the Blue Signposts.

Waypoint 6 :

At Gate follow the wooden sign to Chasewater Innovation Centre.

Waypoint 7 :

Follow a short section of road then turn right across Reservoir Wall Walkway.

Waypoint 8 :

Turn right at the buildings and follow the path back to the Main Car Park and Start Point.

A great walk to do with your best friend especially if they enjoy swimming. There are many areas of beach around Chasewater for the doggies to paddle in,  great for cooling off on those hot Summer days. We hope you enjoy the Chasewater Circular Dog Walk as much as we did.
