Fairhaven Lake Dog Walk Lytham St Annes
I love this dog walk! It’s right in the centre of Lytham St Annes and takes in the picturesque Fairhaven Lake and gives you a great view of Granny’s Bay.
If you look to the South you can also see The Ribble Estuary Nature Reserve which is one of the most important sites in the UK for wintering water fowl. It also has a number of great dog walks too.

For the Fairhaven Lake dog walk park on the Inner Promenade in Lytham St Annes. If you use FY8 1BD as your destination this will take you to where you need to be!
Use the entrance on St. Pauls Avenue and walk around the lake taking the scenic route through the trees. Walk across car park via the public path and come down the stairs onto lake edge. Head past the Fairhaven Lake Cafe and play park then come back onto St. Pauls Avenue. The route depending on pace can take from 30 to 45 minutes.
For those dogs that love to play on the beach then from the Fairhaven Lake Dog Walk you can easily drop down onto Lytham St Annes Beach. There are restrictions for dog walking on certain parts of the beach between the 1st of May and the 30th of September. Click here for more information.
Apres Walk
The Fairhaven Lake Cafe is dog friendly and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Alternatively you can head to Lytham St Annes Pier for some traditional fish and chips or find the hugh street for a great selection of dog friendly pubs and cafes.
I hope you enjoy the Fairhaven Lake Dog Walk as much as I do.
