October 1st is always a good date for dog walkers in Christchurch and of course the wider East Dorest and South Hampshire area.
All restrictions in place around dog walking have been removed and dogs can enjoy the sand and sea again too.

We decided to visit Southbourne’s beautiful clean beach on Sunday, Ruby & Bruce were in their element. Digging in the sand, chasing balls and each other. They were not quite brave enough to swim but who can blame them. I bet the sea was chilly. I certainly didn’t dip my toe in. The Bistro on the Beach on the Solent Promenade is a great place to have coffee, very friendly and welcoming.

A big bonus, sandy paws are so much easier to clean than muddy ones. In no time at all Ruby & Bruce were back on the sofa for a Sunday Afternoon snooze!
