I looked after Eva for 2 weeks while her owners were on holiday and I enjoyed every moment with her. Eva is 9 year old Golden Retriever who loves nothing more then a belly rub and a cuddle. She is very laid back and loves people. Once a day I would take Eva for a walk around the residential park where she would meet many of the residents who loved to give her treats and lots of affection. Eva has arthritis and can only walk a short distance and when it’s time to go home Eva will place her paw on the lead and wait until we turn around to go back. Some days we get further then others. Once we are home she will find her favourite teddy and go for a nap until it’s tea time. I hope to look after Eva again in the future. Here’s what the customer had to say about my service:

“James looked after Eva our 9 year old Golden Retriever, while we were away on holiday for seven days. James moved in and took great care of Eva. She loved him being there to give her tummy rubs and making a fuss of her. Taking Eva for a walk James soon picked up that it was Eva taking him for walks as she likes to stop when she see’s anyone and sits and waits to be made a fuss of and she stops dead and puts her paw over the lead and will move when you turn around to take her home. Nothing was to much trouble for James . He even had to deal with a power cut and would also administer Eva’s medication every morning as she suffers from arthritis. Pet Sitting for Effy and Freddie in Kirkam

Although the business is called My Best Friend Dog Care I can cater for all sorts of small furry friends. Effy and Freddie are 2 adorable kittens whom I visited regularly throughout December while their owner was away. Effy was quite timid towards strangers and would hide under the sofa until I filled up her food bowl whereas Freddie was more confident and would come out to play with one of his many toys until it was time to eat. My duties included filling up their food and water bowls and emptying their litter tray. I enjoyed spending time with Effy and Freddie and hope to see them again in the future.
