My Best Friend Dog Care provide professional dog care services. These include dog walking, home boarding as well as pet sitting and puppy care in Chester.

Just this week I have had the pleasure of pet sitting a 4-month-old Beagle puppy called Chester. I visit Chester every day (depending on their shifts to when I visit) whilst his Mum and Dad are hard at work. When I arrive, Chester is super excited to see me as he has been at home all morning and just loves to play. First thing I do is check that he is ok and give him a good tummy rub. Chester usually gets a 20-minute walk with his mum and dad, so I also take him for 20 mins. After the walk we will then have a little play with his favourite toy and generally make a fuss of him. Once he’s 10 months old he’ll be able to come on one of our group walks.
Pet visits are usually between 20 – 30 minutes and before I leave, I ensure that he has clean fresh water and top up his food if necessary.
A bit about this wonderful breed…
The Beagle is the smallest of the British pack hounds bred to hunt hare, and to be followed on foot, hence appealing to those who could not follow the larger scent hounds on horseback. The breed was established in England by the 15th century.

Characteristics: Dignified and aloof but trustworthy companions
