At My Best Friend Dog Care we take pride in treating your dog as if he were our own. That’s what our customer’s love about us, we really do care. Unlike many other dog walkers in Burford we actively promote walking groups of dogs together off lead. Dogs are pack animals and love to interact and play with their own kind. We do often get asked how do we manage to walk groups of 5 or 6 dogs together? Well, it’s quite simple really, we just follow some simple rules…

• At My Best Friend we meet and assess every dog before we commit to walking them. This gives us an insight into their behaviour and temperament and we NEVER take on any dog that has shown signs of aggression

• When we take on a new dog we will always walk them in a small group to start with. This allows us to get to know them and for them to get to know us.

• We only ever allows dogs off lead with their owners consent.

• We walk in areas away from roads and livestock and where possible away from other dog walkers.

• Training, all of our dog walkers have undergone training in safe and responsible dog walking.

As a trusted dog walker in Burford we are fully insured and our dog walkers have a clean DBS check. We also use an air-conditioned van with safe and secure individual cages for your best friend’s safety and comfort. We also cover Lechlade, Clanfield, Carterton Bampton and the surrounding villages.
