I cannot believe that My Best Friend New Forest is fast approaching it’s first anniversary of trading. How the year has flown past. Almost every weekday has been spent in the company of the lovely Otis.
On top of the year he has spent in Dog Day Care in Ringwood Otis spent 2 years with My Best Friend West Oxfordshire. We pride ourselves on the service and care we provide and our customers see this too.

Otis is such a gentle dog with a wonderful temperament. Many other dogs have been to stay for day care or home boarding during the past year,. Otis has become friends with them all. His laid-back attitude to other dogs has made my life easy, no concerns whatsoever about how they will all get on. This is mostly down to the superb care and attention that Otis received when he was a regular at My Best Friend West Oxfordshire prior to coming to me. Thank you so much Jon and Clara for the gift of Otis, the most socialised, placid, friendly golden retriever you could ever meet.
People said to me when I first opened for business, “just you wait until winter arrives, you won’t enjoy yourself quite so much then”. Well, all I can say is that winter came with snow, rain, winds and cold frosts, Otis and I enjoyed those walks even more than the ones in the hot summer sunshine. They now say “it was such a mild winter, you just wait until this year!” Maybe they should consider becoming a My Best Friend Dog Care franchisee, to enjoy their working week as much as I do.
Whatever the weather, a day spent with Otis and my other lovely dogs makes the outlook just fine.
