Doggy’s Day Out in The New Forest
Home boarding is a great alternative to traditional kennels for your dog when taking a holiday yourself.
The dogs really are treated as one of the family when they come to stay and whenever possible dogs are included in everything we do.
So, when Henry the miniature wire haired dachshund from Poulner was staying whilst the Dogstival event was being held at Pylewell Park, Lymington, he was obviously included.
Here’s what we got up to…
What a great day we had, sunshine, large open fields and its own beach, what’s not to like? Hundreds of other dogs for Henry to meet, an abundance of dog food stalls selling high quality treats, many offering samples for the dogs to try. Henry sampled many!
Henry being a great lover of water was very interested in the K9 dock and dive pool, I was very surprised that he didn’t actually pluck up the courage to join the other dogs that were having great fun in the water.
Such a good boy giving his little legs a well- earned rest sitting on the straw bales watching the dog displays in the main arena. He managed a doggie ice cream, liver flavour with his pal Coco before returning home exhausted on the sofa.
What a great way to spend a weekend and lovely doggy day out!
