Chigwell Dog Walker – My Best Friend Dog Care
This week Jed joined the My Best Friend Chigwell family.
Jed is a 7 year old German Shepard who lives in Ilford. His owner rescued him from an animal shelter when he was 2 years old.
Unfortunately, because he spent a lot of time alone in Kennels during his early life, he is a bit nervous around other dogs, so we are currently getting the pleasure of taking him on daily solo walks.
As Jed is based in Ilford we have started walking him through Fairlop Waters. On our travels we encounter many things, mainly frost! but also joggers, walkers, wildlife (including the incredibly loud Geese) and lots of other dogs. Despite Jed’s cautiousness of other dogs getting too close to him he is an absolute pleasure to walk. He really enjoys walking through any area that seem to squelch under his very large paws.
The hope is that with the right socialisation and enough rewards and treats Jed will soon be ready to walk with a buddy or 2!

Unlike many dog walkers in the area I have an air-conditioned van with safe and secure cages so I can transport your best friend safely to and from their walks.
