Hi, welcome to my July Blog where you can read about all of the doggy adventures I have had with your best friends.
I would like start by saying a big welcome to Winnie, the Cockapoo puppy, from South Cerney, who will now be here for regular doggy day care three times a week and to Frank the Minature Schnauzer from Kempsford, who is now with us for regular day care. I think these 2 will become firm friends!

Tilly’s Story
“Hello, My name is Tilly, I’m and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I’ve been home boarding Aunty Melanie in Kempsford. We’ve been on some lovely countryside dog walks. My Favourite was Horcott Lakes in the early morning to keep cool. I travelled in my own cosy crate there, which was very comfortable. The air conditioning was on so we didn’t get too warm and I went for a little paddle in the water. I got a nasty sticky twig caught in my tail and Aunty Melanie took it out straight away for me. I love sleeping on the sofa and barking at the TV whenever there are any animals on. I get lots of cuddles and brushed every day. I’ve made lots of new doggy friends and had so much fun and cannot wait to come back again!”
So what other doggy adventures did I have?
As well as having Tilly to stay we also had our regular dog walks and doggy day care dogs to look after and went on plenty of great walks! The only trouble we had was keeping everyone cool but it helps living close to the Cotswold Water Park.
We had a new friend join us in July, Duncan, a fabulous Fox Red Labrador. His Mum and Dad wanted me to come and visit him a couple of times to let him out to play in the garden and to give him lots of fuss and cuddles as they were going to be out all day. When I had finished the afternoon visit. I was concerned that the room he was going back in was getting too hot. I telephoned his owner and arranged that I would take him home to mine to keep him cool until they returned in the evening. He was happy with the adventure!
Many Happy Returns
We had some birthdays in July. Dear Poppy the Whippet, Buster the Welsh terrier and Trufa the Galgo, Happy Birthday one and all.
Sad Goodbyes
Sadly we have to say farewell to Milo and his owner Karen. They are going to open as My Best Friend- North Shropshire in August! We wish them the very best of luck! However as one door closes anther opens and I’ve met a lovely new potential carer who lives in Siddington, Cirencester, very exciting times!
