Kinder than Kennels – My Best Friend Stafford

Being Mum to 3 furry friends I do know that I would never put them in dog kennels. Now, I’ve got nothing against dog boarding kennels, some of them are excellent, but I think a home boarding environment is so much kinder than kennels.

Let me tell you about some of the wonderful dogs that came to stay for home boarding with My Best Friend Dog Care – Stafford in April.

Bella, a very large but gentle Labradoodle

Such a huge girl but an absolute gentle giant. She’s very playful and what’s more she donates blood. What a hero! To find out more about doggy blood banks click here.

Ralph the Labrador

Sadly Ralph is quite reactive to small dogs so he does have to wear a muzzle when he’s being walked. I will only let him off his with his muzzle on just to be safe, I don’t want him getting into trouble.  Ralph is always very energetic for the first couple of days but soon settles down. The key is to keep him occupied and he just loves a frozen Kong and lots of exercise. I always take the time to find out all about my home boarders so I can give them the best possible care.

Millie the Retriever for home boarding and dog walking too!

I’ve never met a Golden Retriever that’s not happy and Millie is no exception. She’s such a happy go-lucky girl who I love having to stay.
