Dexter the Border Terrier from Freckleton

Dexter is a 10 year old Border Terrier who is still young at heart. I walk Dexter 5 days a week and he has no problem keeping up with the other dogs in the group. Dexter gets on great with the group and any dogs we may meet whilst we are out on the walks around Freckleton, Warton, Kirkham or Wesham. Dexter has also been home boarding with us for over 2 weeks and it feels like he is part of the family. He is very affectionate and loves a cuddle and a scratch behind the ear. For an older dog he’s quite playful and has bursts of energy where he throws the ball around the room and chases it.

Lola the Sprocker Spaniel from Lythan St Annes.

For those of you that don’t know a Sprocker is a cross between an Springer and a Cocker Spaniel. Double the fun!! Lola is a year old and lives in Lytham St Annes. She’s a live wire and has a lot of energy as you’d expect from this breed. Playtime with other dogs is her favourite thing to do. Lola has stayed with us on several occasions since we began home boarding is always very excited when she returns. She enjoys running around the garden with Wheeler and chasing the ball.  Lola can also be a bit shy at times and will hide behind you if she is unsure of something and just wants a lot of cuddles and affection. Something not in short supply at My Best Friend Freckleton.

George and Murphy, a pair of felines from Kirkham

We may specialise in dogs but we also care for cats too. My Best Friend Freckleton offers cat visits for when you go away and need someone to provide food and water. We will also change the litter tray and provide company to your cat(s) until you return. George and Murphy are new additions to our cat visit service. Both cats are 5 years old and have recently been re-homed to Kirkham. George is quite a confident cat and is food obsessed so it is easy to catch his attention with a few treats. Murphy is a shy cat who generally is hiding somewhere in the house but once he appears he loves a bit of attention.

As part of my dog care and pet care services I often have to access my client’s home when they are not there. For this reason I have a DBS certificate and offer a secure key holding service too.
