Did you know that January is walk your dog month? Well it is in the States and we think this is one American import that we should embrace!
Time to get up, get moving and don’t let the short winter days and plummeting temperatures slow you down.
Dogs need plenty of exercise throughout the year and, the best way to keep them active during the winter months is to take them for regular walks.

If you are not able to do this due to other commitments, then let My Best Friend New Forest help you. We are out walking every day no matter the weather!
As a professional dog walker I am fully insured, DBS checked, have a recognised dog care qualification and will collect your best friend in an air conditioned van with secure cages for his comfort and safety. I cover Ringwood, Verwood, Christchurch, Fordingbridge, St Leonards, Poulner and the wider New Forest area and regularly change our forest walking routes so that your dog has something new to sniff at! What’s more he’ll have a group of like minded dogs to run and play with.
Did you know that dogs learn about their surroundings via their sense of smell? That’s why it’s so important to let them stop and sniff the roses, so to speak!
Here’s a few of the my regular doggy clients…
I know winter walks can be wet and muddy so why not let me help you out? I have and endless supply of clean dry towels so your best friend will be left clean and dry. Well, as clean as is possible after a muddy walk in the New Forest!
I can provide regular walks or one offs and try to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. Why not get in touch to find out more about how My Best Friend Dog Care can help you with walk your dog month. Just click here
