Open for Business in Chester

I am pleased to say that My Best Friend Chester has been reopened for business since the 11^th May and I am now able to provide services for dog walking and home boarding.

Since reopening, I have had the pleasure of walking one of my regular dogs again, a Labradoodle called Jenny.

Her owners are usually in when I pick her up so I don’t need to go into the house. I stay outside social distancing from the front door and when they are ready Jenny comes out running up to me all excited. It’s been nice to get out and about again after being cooped up at home for the last two months.

Due to the Pandemic, needless to say, there will be new guidelines and routines for looking after your best friend whilst in my care:-

Dog walking:- We will only use our leads and equipment. Whilst out and about on a walk social distancing will always be adhered to. All cages and areas in the van where the dogs have been transported are also diligently cleaned and disinfected after each walk.

Home Boarding:- We will only use our beds, toys, water/food bowls, leads and equipment. The only items you can bring will be the dog’s food. Social distancing again will always be adhered to. If we have two dogs from the same household, depending on circumstances whilst out walking, both dogs may be kept on the leads.
